This is a neat little picture book entitled; "Washington, D.C. The Nation's Capital." It has a lot of really neat black and white pictures of some of the landmarks and interesting places in and around Washington, D.C. The book measures 8 7/8" x 6" and it's printed on really nice paper stock, the front cover has a nice blue tint to it. There's pictures of the US Supreme Court, the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, Arlington Park and Bridge, Mount Vernon, The Federal Reserve Building, Library of Congress, The White House, Arlington Ampitheatre, Rock Creek, Washington National Airport, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, US Naval Academy, Washington Monument and more! I looked all through the book and could not find a date on it anywhere, I'd say late 1940's or early 1950's.

This picture book is in very good condition. It shows a tiny bit of wear around the edges and there is a little yellowing. The cover has a gouge in the paper on the front, but it doesn't go all way thru.
